Maine FAQ’s –

What is your cancellation policy? We have a two (2) hour cancellation policy. If you cancel after that time or do just not call in for your TeleTour, you will be charged the full amount. We will cancel with full refunds if necessary for inclement weather or other emergency situation.

Are the tours COVID safe? All TeleTours are private for your group only and guided live via phone, so there is no personal contact, other than the boat trips or restaurants associated with Seafood Discovery Tours.

How long are the tours? TeleTours run about an hour, as do virtual presentations.

Are the tours and presentations family friendly? Yes, we love encouraging children to get excited about history!

Are the tours handicapped accessible? Yes, please let us know in advance.

Are pets allowed? Friendly dogs are allowed on most tours as long as they are leashed and picked up after. They are not allowed on the Seafood Discovery Tours unless a service animal.

What about rain? If it is raining lightly or misty, we usually go ahead with the tour, though it can be your choice. Full refunds are given for cancellations 2 hours prior to the tour, except for the boat trips on a Seafood Discovery Tour; they have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

What times are the tours? TeleTours are offered on the hour from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in most cases. Cemetery Explorations are only held in daylight hours. Other tours are arranged according to convenient times for you.

Is tipping allowed? Tips for your guide are never required or expected, but always appreciated. In your “Thank You” email you will have an opportunity to leave a PayPal gratuity.

Do you offer private tours? Yes, all TeleTours are private, but other private tours can possibly be arranged, please call.

Where do the tours meet? Each tour has a unique starting location, which will be sent to you in your confirmation email.

How do I purchase tickets? You may book here on the website or call 207-380-3806. No printer is needed, all tickets are virtual.
